Според приетите от Министерски съвет промени в Правилника за легализациите, заверките и преводите на документи и други книжа, заверка на подписа на преводач на документи от чужбина вече ще бъде значително улеснена и на по-ниска цена.

До настоящия момент тази процедура се извършва от централното управление на Министерството на външните работи в София, като таксата, която събират от ведомството, е 15 лв. С измененията в правилника заверката вместо от МВнР ще се прави от нотариусите по места. Допълнително облекчение за гражданите и бизнеса, на които вече няма да се налага да пътуват задължително до столицата, за да заверят определен превод, е намаляването на цената, която трябва да бъде заплататена за услугата от 15 на 6 лева. 

За да се гарантира самоличността на преводача и компетентността му да предоставя преводачески услуги на съответния език, той ще трябва да представи на нотариуса при полагането на подписа си документ, който да удостовери присъствието му в списък, поддържан от МВнР въз основа на критерии, основани на образование и професионална квалификация.

Този режим се предвижда да остане в сила до създаването на електронен Регистър на заклетите преводачи, който да бъде част от предвидения по приоритетен проект 5.15 „Базов регистър на субекти, обекти и събития“ от Пътната карта за изпълнение на Стратегията за развитие на електронното управление в Република България за периода 2016–2020 г. универсален регистър на професионално квалифицираните лица.

Проектът на Постановление за изменение и допълнение на Правилника за легализациите, заверките и преводите на документи и други книжа, приет на днешното заседание на МС, беше публикуван за обществено обсъждане през август 2017 г. Може да бъде разгледан ТУК.
