След като на 24 юни Европейският парламент одобри Регламента за създаване на Европейския фонд за стратегически инвестиции, днес от финансовото министерство обявиха и сумата, с която България ще вземе участие в този ключов елемент на Инвестиционния план за Европа.

Чрез Българската банка за развитие ще бъдат предоставени 100 млн. евро  за съфинансиране на одобрени проекти. В официалното съобщение в интернет страницата на Министерство на финансите се посочва, че редица държави-членки, сред които Германия, Испания, Франция, Италия, Люксембург, Полша и Словакия, вече са обявили  намеренията си за участие във фонда чрез своите национални банки за развитие. 

Българска банка за развитие ще бъде един от основните партньори на Европейската инвестиционна банка по отношение съфинансирането на проекти с по-висок рисков профил на територията на България. Това беше официално съобщено от ББР след проведения на 18 и 19 юни в София Икономически форум на Югоизточна Европа. От МФ подчертават значимостта на участието на Националните банки за развитие по отношение насърчаването на инвестициите, тъй като разполагат с необходимия опит и експерти, които ще гарантират ефективното използване на публичните ресурси и стимулиране на частните инвеститори при осъществяването на плана „Юнкер“.

От финансовото министерство припомнят, че се очаква Европейският фонд за стратегически инвестиции да заработи в началото на септември, като през следващите три години мобилизира допълнителни публични и частни инвестиции в Европа, в частност и в България, за осъществяването на проекти от голямо социално и икономическо значение, както и такива, насърчаващи създаването на работни места, с принос за растежа в дългосрочен план и повишаването на конкурентоспособността.
