По данни на НСИ, публикувани в прессъобщение в сайта на института през юни 2014 г. общият показател на бизнес климата се понижава с 1.0 пункт спрямо равнището си от предходния месец, което се дължи на по-неблагоприятния бизнес климат в промишлеността и в сектора на услугите. 

Съставният показател „бизнес климат в промишлеността” намалява с 1.8 пункта в сравнение с май поради по-резервираните оценки на промишлените предприемачи за настоящото бизнес състояние на предприятията. Като основна пречка за развитието на бизнеса най-често е посочвана нестабилната икономическа среда и недостатъчното търсене от страна на потребителите. Леко подобрение е отчетено в производствената активност.

Ръст от 4.0 пункта е отчетен в съставния показател „бизнес климат в строителството”. По мнение на строителните предприемачи настоящата строителна активност се подобрява в сравнение с предходния месец, но прогнозите им за следващите три месеца са по-резервирани.

Без промяна в сравнение с предходния месец е показателят  „бизнес климат в търговията на дребно”. По отношение на продажните цени в отрасъла очакванията на търговците са за запазване на тяхното равнище през следващите три месеца.

Най-значително е понижението в съставния показател „бизнес климат в сектора на услугите” - с цели 5.6 пункта в сравнение с май. Несигурната икономическа среда, ниските нива на търсене и голямата конкуренция в бранша отново са посочени като водещи фактори, затрудняващи дейността в сектора на услугите.
