Според данните на Института за пазарна икономика за поредна година символичната дата, която наричаме "ден на свобода от правителството" се измества напред във времето и през настоящата 2016 г. ще работим до 6-ти май, за да попълним държавната хазна.

Известният по света като Tax Freedom Day се пресмята като се съпоставят приходите в консолидирания бюджет на държавата (без помощите) спрямо БВП на страната. Изчислението се прави само по официални данни или прогнози на правителството, а помощите се изключват от метките, тъй като това са основно европейски средства и не идват пряко от данъко платците.

Според проучванията на ИПИ през 2016 г. българите ще изработят средно по 241 млн. лв. за един календарен ден, измерено чрез очаквания заложен в Бюджет 2016 БВП. Това означава, че за да бъдат осигурени предвидените над 30 млрд. лв. национални приходи в бюджета са необходими малко над 126 дни.

Реално това означава, че данъчната тежест расте и е на най-високите си нива през последните няколко години. В анализа си Института за пазарна икономика посочва, че този процес е съпроводен и с увеличаването на бюджетния дефицит след 2013 г., който предполага и т. нар. дни за отработване - това са дните, които в бъдеще ще трябва да изработим, за да попълним текущата дупка в бюджета. Данните сочат, че през 2016 г. ще останат близо 8 дни за отработване, а само за последните три години (2014-2016) натрупаният бюджетен дефицит (над 7 млрд. лв.) се равнява на пълен месец, в които данъкоплатците трябва да работят само за държавата.

От ИПИ обръщат внимание, че изчисленията представляват осреднение стойности и за работещите българи, които плащат коректно своите данъци, внасят осигуровки и са активни потребители, тоест пълнят хазната с ДДС и акцизи, денят на свобода от правителството може да се отложи още, докато за незаетите на пазара на труда или работещите в сивия сектор този ден идва много по-рано. 

Разпределението в дни, необходими за плащането на задълженията ни към държавата, е следното:

  • за приходи от ДДС - 35 дни;
  • за акцизи - над 19 дни; 
  • за осигуровки - 30 дни, 21 дни за социално осигуряване и 9 дни за здравно;
  • приходи от подоходни данъци - 12 дни;
  • приходи от корпоративни данъци - 8 дни;
  • приходи от държавни и общински такси - 8 дни.
