От приходната агенция съобщават, че с последните промени в ДОПК се създава възможност гражданите и фирмите с ПИК да получават информация за своите данъчни и осигурителни задължения и по телефона.

Така съвсем скоро клиентите на НАП ще могат да се възползват от още един начин за достъп до данъчно-осигурителна информация наред с електронните услуги, достъпни с персонален идентификационен код или електронен подпис и опцията за лично посещение в офис на агенцията. Очаква се проверката за дължими данъци и осигуровки по телефона да стане възможна в близките месеци, информират от данъчната администрация и уточняват, че гратисният период, в който трябва да се изработи механизъм за прилагането на новите разпоредби на Данъчно-осигурителния процесуален кодекс, е 6 месеца. 

Според статистиката на приходната агенция от създаването си през 2008 г. до настоящия момент колцентърът е получил почти 3 милиона запитвания. Телефонно обаждане на информационния телефон на НАП 0700 18 700 е на цената на градски разговор от цялата страна за абонатите на стационарни телефони.
