Законопроект за ратифициране на Споразумението между правителството на Република България и правителството на Гърнси за обмен на информация по данъчни въпроси е внесен вчера в НС и очаква одобрението на депутатите.

Документът ще е първото от този вид ратифицирано споразумения за България, тъй като по принцип обменът на информация в областта на преките данъци се извършва само въз основа на сключените от България спогодби за избягване на двойното данъчно облагане и въз основа на Директива 2011/16/ЕС, уточняват от Министерски съвет. Проект на такова споразумение е одобрен и през юли 2014 г., но не се стига до ратифицирането му.

Административното сътрудничеството между България и Гърнси, вторият по големина британски остров в Ламанша, към момента се осъществява единствено на база споразумение за облагане с данък на доходите от спестявания. С подписването на споразумението данъчните администрации на двете страни ще могат да обменят информация връзка с установяване на облагаеми доходи на своите местни лица, което от своя страна подпомага борбата срещу укриването на данъци и заобикалянето на данъчно облагане. 

Подписването на договорености за обмен на данъчна информация с офшорни юрисдикции е целесъобразно, тъй като с тях не е обосновано сключването на спогодби за избягване на двойното данъчно облагане поради наличието на преференциални данъчни режими, поясняват от МС.
