В четири от най-големите общини в страната - Столична, Велико Търново, Пловдив и Варна, гражданите вече могат да заплатят онлайн през интернет страницата на НАП дължимите данъци за превозни средства и недвижими имоти.

От приходната агенция информират, че услугата предстои да бъде предоставена в близките месеци и в други общини, сключили споразумения с Национална агенция за приходите. 

В началото на май беше активирана новата електронна услуга на НАП, разработена съвместно с финансовото министерство, която дава възможност да бъдат проверявани онлайн задълженията за местни данъци и такси в над 200 общини. С надграждането ѝ те вече могат и да бъдат заплащани по електронен път, като към днешна дата това е възможно в четири общини.  Достъпът до услугата е безплатен за потребителите и се осъществява с ПИК или електронен подпис. 

Персонален идентификационен код вече може да бъде получен във всеки един от офисите на НАП.
