Медиите в Румъния предоставят информация за намерението на северната ни съседка да премахне данъка върху реинвестираните средства за бизнеса и да върне ставката на ДДС на нива отпреди кризата.От изявлението на новия финансов министър Йоана Петреску, цитирана от  Agerpres, става ясно, че това може да се случи в началото на юли 2014 г.

С цел насърчаване създаването на нови работни места и постигане на икономически растеж от 3 % за 2014 г. са предложени и други мерки за намаляване на данъчната тежест. С още 5 % да се намалят осигуровките за служителите и да се понижи данъкът за тези с минимални доходи предлага румънският министър на финансите. ДДС за храните се очаква да бъде намалено от 24% на 19 %.

"Имаме нужда от по-добра събираемост на данъците, от по-голямо свиване на разходите и дори от замразяването им, тъй като сме настроени да следваме една стриктна фискална политика.", заявява Йоана Петреску.

Британската агенция Reuters коментира мерките на Букурещ като прогнозира увеличаване на популярността на правителството на Виктор Понта. Според медията това ще е добре дошло за управляващите на фона на предстоящите евроизбори през май и президентската надпревара през ноември. Данъците в Румъния са повишени с настъпването на финансово-икономическата криза през 2009 г. с цел постигане на по-малък дефицит в държавния бюджет.
