Шест големи европейски банки ще обясняват пред ЕП ролята си при "данъчната оптимизация" на свои клиенти

Представители на шест големи европейски банки обсъждат днес с членове на Европейския парламент ролята на финансовите учреждения в "данъчната оптимизация" на корпоративните им клиенти.

На срещата между членовете на специалната комисия за данъчни постановления TAXE 2 и ING Group (NL), Crédit Agricole (FR), Nordea (SW), Сантандер (ES), UBS (СН), и Уникредит (IT) банките ще трябва да пояснят по какъв начин се използват предлаганите от тях консултантски услуги и структурирани финансови продукти от фирмите за оптимизиране на данъчните задължения. 

Заседанията се провеждат като част от мащабната инициатива на Европейската комисия за справяне с агресивното корпоративно данъчно планиране, повишаване на прозрачността на данъчното облагане и осигуряване на еднакви условия на конкуренция за всички предприятия на единния пазар. 

Срещата се провежда днес, 21 март, и може да бъде следена на живо чрез EP LIVE.

През миналата седмица в ЕП бяха поканени за дебат по темата за корпоративните данъци  и четири от най-големите международни корпорации. Представителите на Google, Apple, Inter-IKEA Group и McDonald's обявиха принципната си подкрепа за повече яснота и сигурност по отношение на данъчните им задължения в Европейския съюз. Те обаче са притеснени от административни разходи и не биха искали информацията за данъчните им плащания да бъде публично оповестена, съобщиха от пресцентъра на институцията.
